This work is produced in order to investigate the correlation of "notation" with initial thoughts and interpretations.
Firstly a person is asked to notate a topography derived from a satellite photo. This drawing is given to another person to make a model out of it. Then the model is lastly given to another person to be notated again. None of the participants are allowed to see the previous work. Throughout the process, the importance of hierarchy in notation and the loss/gains in the translations are observed.
For the musical exercise, a part from Beethoven's 7th Symphony is spontaneously and intuitively drawn on a 12-meter-long sheet. Then, this piece is given to electronic music artist Mert Zeybek to compose a tract only by looking at the drawing. Then these two musical pieces are listened to and superposed.
